You have to know what the John Ruffato Business Startup Challenge (JRBSC) is in order to particpate!
The JRBSC is Montana’s premier, innovation and entrprepreneurship competition for students attending any college or university across the state to present exciting new businesses and/or social entrepreneurship ventures. Up to 16 teams compete on March 8, 2019 for $50,000 in awards and have the opportunity to network with venture capitalists, early stage investors, investment bankers, economic developers, corporate executives, and successful entrepreneurs. Register Online by February 8
Whether you have an idea or not, we ask register online prior by Midnight, February 1, in order for us to match you with a mentor. Teams are recommended, but not mandatory. If you have a team, awesome. If you don't and would like team members, indicate it on our registration form.
After you register, we will match you with a mentor from the community to help you formulate your pitch and fine tune your plan and value proposition.

Make sure you have read through the written and submission requirements so you know what is expected. Submission deadline is Friday, February 8, 2019 by Midnight. Pitch Day is March 8, 2019.

After you've submitted the written requirements, you are automatically entered into a poll of contestants. A maximum of 16 teams are chosen. No matter if you are chosen or not check our Events Calendar for workshops to help you both through the competition or just to fine tune your business idea (pitch practice, value proposition refinement, and more).
