A parking permit or guest pass (see Visitor Parking) is required to park on the UM campus throughout the year, Monday - Friday 7 am - 5 pm. Areas that are marked as reserved (hightlighted pink on the parking map) are leased spaces and are not available to use by anyone other than the reserved space owner. To accomodate the needs of commuters, there are designated areas where overnight parking is allowed. These areas are highlighted DARK GREEN on the parking map. If you are parked across campus after dark, Grizzly Personal Safety (243-2777) is available to escort you so you do not have to walk alone.
Missoula College Students are not required to purchase a parking permit for mountain campus. To register a vehicle at the Missoula College please see Missoula College Parking.
Students parking on mountain campus need to request a parking permit through CyberBear. Select the "Parking" tab in Cyberbear and follow the instructions. Upon completion of your parking selections print a temporary permit to display in your vehicle. Once your bill has been finalized, your hanger or sticker will be mailed to your local CyberBear mailing address. If you are unable to finalize or if you have any questions please give us a call at: 243-6132.
UM Faculty and Staff see Vehicle Registration. Send completed form to Public Safety through Campus Mail or bring it by during business hours to pick up your permit.
