  • This program provides advanced education and research training in basic, translational, and clinical research within the pharmaceutical sciences. Students receive training at the interfaces of medicinal chemistry, molecular pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenomics, and precision medicine. Students develop specialized expertise through research opportunities tailored to their areas of interest, state-of-the-art facilities, and individualized mentorship, supported by collaborations across multidisciplinary centers and institutes. Graduates are well prepared for careers in academia, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, and governmental or regulatory agencies.

  • This program provides advanced education and research training in toxicology, with emphasis on understanding how environmental agents impact biological systems and contribute to human disease. Students gain expertise in molecular and cellular toxicology through interdisciplinary coursework and hands-on research in areas such as immunotoxicology, respiratory toxicology, and exposure science. The program is highly collaborative and supported by the Center for Environmental Health Sciences, offering access to state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated research staff, and individualized mentorship.
