About Kay Hajek
Kay is the director of the O’Connor Center for the Rocky Mountain West. Kay is a plant ecologist with experience in research, land management, conservation and education. Her career focus is on generating information applicable to natural resource conservation and management and developing practical strategies to preserve biological diversity in changing landscapes. Kay has a special interest in mentoring early-career professionals and creating a productive environment for undergraduate students to gain practical technical experience and professional skills.
