About Matt Trentman
Matthew Trentman is the Associate Director of OCRMW. Matt is an aquatic ecologist with more than 10 years of experience monitoring streams and using monitoring data to inform land management decisions.
Matt oversees projects related to the monitoring of streams and rivers with Federal and State partners. Matt has research interests that lie at the interface of aquatic habitat, hydrology, and climate science and recognizes that aquatic ecosystems are linked with the terrestrial landscape and atmospheric processes. His research goals are to use novel approaches to guide the management of aquatic ecosystems in the face of anthropogenic and natural impacts using disparate monitoring datasets with landscape-scale models. As a part of this work, Matt is committed to providing professional development opportunities for students and early career post-baccalaureate and post-masters professionals.
