The Montana Breastfeeding Learning Collaborative (BLC) is Montana’s premier conference on infant nutrition and lactation support. This learning event provides the attendee with professional development opportunities and current clinical and practical lactation support knowledge.

The 2023 BLC will return to an in-person conference at Fairmont Hot Springs from 8:30am-4:00pm on Tuesday, March 28. The Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative & WIC Meetings (12:30pm-4:30pm) & Pre-conference sessions (2:15-4:30pm) will be held on Monday, March 27 (prior to the BLC).  View the full agenda, speaker bios, and session descriptions.

This year’s support topics include: Indigenous Perinatal Health; Tongue-Tie (AAP Updates); Milestones; Breastfeeding & Incarcerated in Montana; Birth Weight, Bilirubin, & Blood Sugar; Microbiome/Epigenetics.

Target Audience: physicians, nurse practitioners, lactation specialists, WIC clinic staff, public health professionals, hospital staff, health clinic staff, dietitians, nurses, and other interested healthcare advocates.
