Hello students and community partners,
Everything kicks off at 9:20 A.M. with a Cyber Challenge Competition that will allow students to compete and showcase their cyber skills. The Cyber Challenge will be followed by a lunch, hosted by CyberMontana, from 12:00-1:00 P.M. and a Career Speed Networking Event from 1:15-2:30 P.M. There may also be an option for short (20-min.) formal employer/student individual interviews from 2:30-3:30 P.M. (at request of employers/students).
The event will provide in person career networking and recruiting opportunities between Missoula College and University of Montana Mountain Campus Cybersecurity, IT, MIS, and Computer. Science Program students and local Missoula and surrounding area businesses with associated workforce recruitment needs. Attendance for any portion of the event requires registration. Purpose:
- The main purpose of the event will be to provide in person career networking and recruiting opportunities between Missoula College and University of Montana Mountain Campus Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, and Computer Science Program students and local Missoula and surrounding area businesses who are actively recruiting candidates, to work in Missoula and surrounding areas, into the cybersecurity, information technology and computer science fields.

Online Student Registration Information & Instructions:
NOTE: Attendance for any portion of the event requires online student registration, prior to the start of the event. Separate in person, same day student registration, held at 9:00 A.M. April 21 (near MC 340 Lecture Hall, on the Missoula College River Campus), is also required for the Cyber Challenge Competition portion of the event.
Below is the online student registration link as well as instructions to access the Microsoft Forms event student registration page. After you login with the instructions below, the event student registration page contains further instructions to complete the online student registration process.

- Enter your NetID plus the UM email domain (Example: xxxxxxxx@umconnect.umt.edu) in the first (Email or phone) field on the Microsoft “Sign in” page.
- Enter your NETID and *Password in the associated fields on the “NETID LOGIN” page to sign in (*NOTE: This is the same password used to log in to CyberBear and Moodle).
- Note: Make sure to read all of the information on the event student registration page and follow the “Online (Student) Registration Instructions” at the bottom of the registration page to complete the online student registration process.

Community Partner Registration Information & Instructions:
*NOTE: Employer partners interested in attending any portion of the event must register, via email RSVP and using the instructions below, to Christopher Prosa ( christopher.prosa@mso.umt.edu) by Friday April 14. To complete the email RSVP registration process please also include:
- First and last name(s) of expected attendee(s) and contact information (email and phone number) for primary contact(s)
- Titles of expected attendees
- Your organizations name
- Which portion(s) of the event expected attendee(s) will be participating in: - Cyber Challenge Competition 9:20-11:30 A.M. - Lunch 12:00-1:00 P.M. - Career Speed Networking Event 1:15-2:30 P.M. (Employer Table Setup 1:00-1:15 P.M.) - Formal Employer/Student Individual Interviews 2:30-3:30 P.M. (Optional: at request of employers/students) NOTE: Employers who feel they might want to conduct more formal, short (20-min.), individual student interviews after the group Career Speed networking Event need to reserve our onsite meeting rooms in advance by contacting Christopher Prosa ( christopher.prosa@mso.umt.edu).
- Employer partners are welcome to attend the Cyber Challenge Competition from 9:20-11:30 A.M. to watch students that participate. Otherwise, employers are encouraged to join us for lunch at 12:00 P.M. and participate in the Career Speed Networking Event from 1:15-2:30 P.M. Employers also have the option to conduct more formal interviews with students they select from 2:30-3:30 P.M., in meeting rooms we will have on reserve (See onsite meeting room reservation instruction note below under “Community Partner Registration Instructions”).
- Employer partners interested in attending any portion of the event must register, via email RSVP using the Community Partner Registration Instructions above, by end of business on Friday April 14.
- Employers are encouraged to check their emails (given during the email RSVP registration process) frequently for important update communications related to the event (parking, agenda changes, etc.).
- Please come willing to meet some students and talk about your organization and recruitment opportunities. *NOTE: Employer partners will receive student resumes, for their review, a few days prior to the event.
- Please bring some branding and marketing materials to set your table apart during the Career Speed Networking Event portion.
