Law Student semester request

New Request Process for Law Students Starting Autumn 2026

Alexander Blewett III School of Law students must submit a Semester Request each semester. This activates your approved academic accommodations.

The Autumn 2026 submission window runs August 17 through September 11, the 15th instructional day.

Requests are reviewed within 24 to 48 hours. You'll get an email once your letter reaches the Law School.

After your accommodation letter is sent to the Law School

Meet with the appropriate Law School designee to review how your accommodations will be implemented.

• Exam accommodations: Assistant Director of Student Services

• All other accommodations: Assistant Director of Student Affairs

During your meeting: 

• The Assistant Director will discuss how your accommodations will be applied in your courses.

• If approved for recording lecture accommodations, you must sign a recording agreement before you record.
