Looking for a different way to spend your summer? Never traveled abroad? Shake up your summer with a study abroad experience through UM! Below you will find a variety of summer study abroad programs offered all around the world. Dates and lengths of programs vary.

Please be sure to read carefully into each program you are interested in. Know the following: application deadlines, expected travel dates, Covid restrictions entering/leaving the host country, credit transfer information, language requirements, and most importantly; know your reasons for wanting to travel abroad.

All students traveling abroad are required to attend a Summer Program Orientation (abbreviated version of the 8 week Pre-Departure course). You will learn about cultural differences, intercultural communication, and pre-departure logistics including student visas, transferring credits, registration, billing, physical/mental health care, and safety issues.
