What is Global Partners?

Global Partners is a service program that provides a personal "buddy" to help new international students during their first semester on campus. UM students volunteer to ease the cultural adjustments such loneliness, culture shock, and stress for their new international friend.

What activities will I do with my Global Partner?

• Meet regularly during my first semester and get to know my partner over coffee, lunch, and/or dinners
• Learn about the UM, Missoula, and the USA
• Get help with services on campus and in the community such as the library, driver's license facilities, bus routes and shopping centers
• Attend social, cultural, and athletic events on campus and in Missoula area with my partner
• Make new friends!
