UM Hydrogeology Lab
We use gather field data in a variety of locations around the world, make precise laboratory measurements, and interpret data with novel methods to understand where groundwater came from, when it originated, how long it took to get here, and what happened to it along the way. We use this knowledge to help improve conceptual understanding of groundwater systems, their coupling to other earth systems, and improve forecasts of groundwater flow and transport.
