Will Leahy

Will Leahy is Principal Global Policy Counsel at Apple Inc., where he is a senior member of the company's global government affairs team. During his tenure at Apple, he has played a key role in shaping the company's engagement strategy with the Chinese government on a broad range of commercial issues amid an increasingly complex geopolitical environment. He has also helped develop and execute Apple's approach to managing China-related policy risks in the United States.
Prior to joining Apple, Will practiced law in Washington, DC, advising companies on export controls, sanctions, investment, and trade policy matters.
An active supporter of organizations that foster cross-cultural exchange, Will has served for nearly a decade on the Board of Princeton in Asia and on the Advisory Committee of the Department of East Asian Studies at Princeton University. He also serves on the boards of the US-Taiwan Business Council and the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless.
Will received an A.B. from Princeton University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He and his wife live in Washington, DC, with their three sons.
