Bill Woody
Board Chairman of Consumer Direct Care Network
William (Bill) Woody is founder and Board Chairman of Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN). CDCN serves people with long-term disabilities who require in-home personal care so they may remain safe and supported in their homes. CDCN grew from Mr. Woody’s purchase of Nightingale Nursing in Missoula in 1996. At that time, the agency had approximately 40 employees. In the 30 years since then, the company is now one of the 15 largest employers in Montana, supports older adults and people with long-term disabilities in 15 states, and pays more than 156,000 workers each year across the United States.
Mr. Woody is the founder of Missoula Medical Aid, a 501(c) (3) that provides direct medical assistance, medication, and sustainable living assistance to Hondurans to promote better family health. In 2004, Mr. Woody was named the Small Business Person of the Year in Montana by the United States Small Business Administration. He holds an MBA and a BS in Geology from the University of Montana. Prior to founding CDCN, he served as a controller for Timberhouse, a timber-frame construction company, and the controller for One-Call Locators, a large underground utilities location company.
Mr. Woody has three adult children and recently welcomed his first grandchild in Missoula.
