We Are Montana in the Classroom is gathering our favorite remote learning resources--including both live and asynchronous events--created by UM faculty, students, and affiliated programs. Live (Synchronous) Programming

- Distance Learning with Montana PBS offers a special weekday television schedule of educational programs along with free digital learning resources for grades 1-12.
- Distance Learning with Missoula Butterfly House and Insectarium (elementary and middle school): Are you looking for resources to help your children or students explore the wild world of arthropods? These fun, interactive sessions are led by a Live Bug Ambassador and are designed to support NGSS standards. Technical support is provided. Dates and times by arrangement. Fees apply.

We Are Montana in the Classroom's YouTube channel features short videos with UM faculty members and graduate students sharing their research and inviting students explore questions or try simple activities from home. Target grade level varies by video.

Science Activities with spectrUM Discovery Area (elementary and middle school): Get hands-on and try out everything from making slime to brain games to wildfire science. These short videos share activities you can try at home with everyday household supplies.

PBS Eons (all ages): UM palentology collections manager Kallie Moore co-hosts this PBS series that takes viewers on a journey from the dawn of life up through the most recent ice age.
- Humans and Water (grade 6/7): MS student Anna Crockett developed a lesson plan about the impact humans have on water.
