AS OF JUNE 1st, ALL SAXOPHONE, GUITAR, AND DRUMSET REGISTRATIONS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITLIST. CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTANCE FOR THOSE WAITLISTED WILL BE GIVEN ON JULY 1st.

This camp is for students of all levels interested in spending a week having fun learning more about jazz! Each camper will play in a big band (5) and a small group (10), take improvisation (7 levels), jazz theory, have an opportunity to learn from professionals in the field and learn alongside our world-class faculty.
Faculty performances and fun activities throughout the week. The UM Summer Jazz Camp is open to instrumental students and is held on the University of Montana campus. Please join us for this incredible week of jazz education, making friends and spectacular music.

CAMP INSTRUMENTATION
For the best educational experience, we will accept the following instruments on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we have reached this instrumentation, applicants will be placed on a waiting list:

*Campers should plan on bringing their own amps and drum sets.

- 9:00am – Daily Warm-up (by instrument)
- 9:45am – Improvisation Hour (7 levels)

- 3:15pm – Free Time & Private Lessons

Registration, Discounts, Cancellations, and Deadlines
- Monday July 10, 2023 - Registration deadline for all campers (day and overnight)
- Cancellations received prior to this date (5:00pm) will receive a refund of the fee minus your paid deposit
- Cancellations received after this date (5:00pm) forfeit all monies paid

JAZZ CAMP COSTS
Day Camper Fee (Jazz Camp only):
- Day Camper Tuition: $350.00 (camper will return home each evening)
- Deposit: $100.00 due at the time of registration
Fees include: Camp Tuition, Lunch and Dinner, Camp T-shirt, and Recreational Activities
Day Camper Fee (both Band Camp and Jazz Camp):
- Day Camper Tuition (combined Band and Jazz Camps): $525.00 (camper will return home each evening)
- Deposit: $100.00 due at the time of registration
Fees include: Camp Tuition, Lunch and Dinner, Camp T-shirt, and Recreational Activities
Resident Camper Fee (Jazz Camp only):
- Resident Tuition: $590.00 (camper will stay in dorms on campus)
- Deposit: $100.00 due at the time of registration
Fees include: Camp Tuition, Room and Board, Camp T-shirt, and Recreational Activities
Resident Camper Fee (both Band Camp and Jazz camp):
- Resident Tuition (combined Band and Jazz Camps): $885.00 (camper will stay in dorms on campus)
- Deposit: $100.00 due at the time of registration
Fees include: Camp Tuition, Room and Board, Camp T-shirt, and Recreational Activities
Optional Private Lessons with Faculty and Staff:
30 minute private lesson (optional): $25.00 cash or check (made to instructor) to be paid on the first day of camp. Because of the rigorous schedule, it is suggested that students register for only one lesson during the week.
