To all UM faculty:

The Office of the Provost encourages those of you who are eligible and would like to apply for sabbatical assignment in academic year 2022-2023 to do so. Applications must be submitted to your dean no later than Oct. 30, 2021.

For information regarding eligibility and the application process, please attend Preparing to Apply for Sabbatical, a Zoom session hosted by the Office of Organizational Learning and Development at 2 p.m. Monday, October 4, visit the Sabbatical Assignment website, and refer to Section 11.100 of your Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Note: The Sabbatical Assignment Committee will use a rubric when evaluating applications for sabbatical assignment. Faculty members preparing to apply for sabbatical are encouraged to view the evaluation rubric prior to preparing their application.
