The Griz Card is the University's identification card. After receiving a final paycheck, all retirees should replace their current Griz Cards with a new card that indicates their status as a "Retiree" or "Lifetime Retiree." This facilitates access to a number of retiree benefits.
Verification of service to the University is required to receive a Retiree or Lifetime Retiree card. New Griz Cards cost $25 for Retirees and are free for Lifetime Retirees (those who have served UM 15 or more years).
Griz Cards are issued by the Griz Card office in the UC.
