Pre-Nursing Advising at UM Campuses

The University of Montana's four-year campus does not have a nursing school, which means students interested in Nursing will ultimately transfer to another institution to complete their degree. However, by starting at UM, students can complete all of the prerequisite courses for transfer to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Montana State University, Montana Tech, and Salish Kootenai College. Students also have the option to complete an Associate of Science in Nursing through Missoula College.

Below are links to the pre-nursing advising packet outlining courses for each program and links to each program’s webpage outlining their degree.

If you have any questions regarding programs and/or prerequisite courses, please reach out to us. Listed below are advising contacts based on your current college of enrollment.
