Il Circolo Italiano (Italian Club) is a student organization officially recognized by ASUM. It was established by a group of students in 2006. Its primary goals are to promote awareness and deeper understanding of the culture, history, traditions, and national language of Italy, to enhance social interaction, and to provide a comfortable, welcoming environment to every student who seeks academic support during his/her studies in Italian. In addition to conversation meetings, the Italian Club sponsors cultural activities, cooking classes, playing games, and gathers to watch Italian films and eat wonderful Italian dishes. Each spring, members take part in the International Culture and Food Festival on campus, preparing traditional Italian dishes and hosting an information table. Il Circolo italiano is grateful to the local businesses supporting the club in raising funds.
The Italian club also enjoys extending its presence in the local community, encouraging wider participation in the activities proposed during the academic year.
If you like good food and passion-filled movies, or if you simply love Italy, please join il Circolo italiano - the Italian Club.
