UM colleagues,

This morning I look forward to launching UM’s newest tradition, the UM Fall Welcome. Join us rain or shine starting at 8 a.m. to reconnect with colleagues over coffee and breakfast treats. In addition to a variety of UM-branded items that we’ll distribute as thank-you gifts on a first-come, first-served basis, employees also will be able to spin the Treat Trike wheel. At 8:40 a.m., Provost Humphrey will recognize our new – as well as newly tenured and promoted – faculty members, and following that, I will deliver the Fall Update to highlight successes and outline UM’s priorities for the upcoming semester.

Please wear your mask when you’re not able to maintain healthy distancing. For those who aren’t able to join us in-person, the UM Fall Welcome will be live-streamed via Zoom.  

Thank you for your ongoing to commitment to UM and thank you for what has been a tremendous start for our first-year students. I look forward to spending time with you.
