Ecological restoration is the practice of restoring damaged ecosystems. Our students explore basic principles in ecology and ecosystem science, then dive deeper into restoration ecology. This minor is a great compliment to other majors associated with environmental science, natural resources, and ecology to delve further on restoration principles for ecosystems.

The UM Society for Ecological Restoration introduces students to the practice of ecological restoration, provides students with hands-on restoration experience and opportunities to network with experts and enthusiasts.
