Gain leadership skills through experiential learning in Montana’s outdoor and wilderness settings in this transdisciplinary program. The Northern Rockies Outdoor Leadership certificate provides students  with an undergraduate degree rooted in leadership training and skills that can be applied to future professional, academic and personal settings. The curriculum includes courses in the classroom and outdoor field settings, as well as an internship.

The Northern Rockies Outdoor Leadership Certificate is open to students of all majors who want to use the outdoor resources in our backyard to strengthen their leadership skills.
