2017-18 Outstanding Student Chapter

The Outstanding Chapter Award recognizes deserving chapters that have done well in most of the areas of emphasis:  professional development, membership, careers in IS, community service, fundraising, and communications.

2016-17 Outstanding Professional Development, Outstanding Membership Activities

The outstanding professional development award is given to a student chapter for excellence in creating and offering professional development opportunities to their members.

The membership activities award is given to a student chapter for excellence in recruiting members and in offering member services.

2015-16 Outstanding Professional Development, Outstanding Membership Activities, Outstanding Fundraising

The outstanding professional development award is given to a student chapter for excellence in creating and offering professional development opportunities to their members.

The membership activities award is given to a student chapter for excellence in recruiting members and in offering member services.

The outstanding fundraising award is given to a student chapter that has created successful and sustainable funding strategies for their chapter.

2014-15 Distinguished Student Chapter

The Distinguished Chapter Award recognizes chapters that have excelled in most of the areas of emphasis: professional development, membership, careers in IS, community service, fundraising, and communications.

2013-14 Outstanding Fundraising, Community Service, Careers in "IS"

The outstanding fundraising award will be given to a student chapter that has created successful and sustainable funding strategies for their chapter.

The outstanding community service award will be given to a student chapter that has made a major contribution to their local community.

The outstanding “careers in information systems” award will be given to a student chapter that successfully promotes the study or practice of information systems to high school students, or current students in their home institution, or worldwide.

2012-13 Outstanding Fundraising

The outstanding fundraising award will be given to a student chapter that has created successful and sustainable funding strategies for their chapter.

2011-2012 Outstanding Student Chapter

The Outstanding Student Chapter award is given to those student chapters whose activities and accomplishments can be considered outstanding among their peers. The Outstanding Student Chapter displays dedication to the advancement of its members and the chapter itself that is worthy of recognition. The winners of the Outstanding Student Chapter award each receive a $100 grant to put towards their continued initiatives dedicated to students in IS.

The recipients of the Student Chapter Certificates of Honorable Mention exemplify excellence in a particular area of their student chapter activities:
