Fundraising is key to the success of MISA. Every year MISA raises funds for various events such as the Semester Kick-off meeting, Technology Opportunity Night, and the trip to the AIS Conference. In the past MISA raised funds by means of student membership fees, lobbying the Associated Students of the University of Montana (ASUM), and building a website for a local home owner's association.
