Montana Cooperative Wildlife Research Unit

I am a M.S. candidate in the Wildlife Biology Program, advised by Dr. Sarah Sells. My graduate research involves recreational impacts on grizzly bear habitat use in Glacier National Park.  I currently work as a Wildlife Biologist at Glacier National Park studying and managing a plethora of wildlife with a predominant focus on bears. Before Glacier, I worked on wildlife projects in the Northern Rockies (mountain lions, wolverines, lynx and bears) and Central Asia (wolves and snow leopards). I earned a B.S. in Wildlife Biology at the University of Montana in 2017. Before my career in wildlife, I served in the U.S. Army from 2007-2013. My research interests include conservation biology, population ecology, spatial ecology, applied ecology, animal behavior, predator-prey dynamics and anthropogenic impacts. In my free time I enjoy hiking, hunting, fishing, reading a good book, watching a great show/movie, playing with my cats, birding and playing Wingspan.
