The Crown Reporting Project sponsors students at the University of Montana to produce stories about the environment in the Crown of the Continent region. By pairing students in UM’s graduate program in Environmental Science and Natural Resource Journalism with seasoned editors, it hopes to advance quality storytelling on climate, communities and conservation in the Rocky Mountain region of Montana, Alberta and British Columbia.
