Graduate Assistant

UM Safe Schools Center is looking for a doctoral student, who is currently enrolled at UM in the Phyllis J. Washington College of Education, for the position of .50 FTE (20 hrs/wk) Graduate Assistant (GA). The GA is responsible for organizing events, developing training materials, conducting safety audits, assisting with the development of school safety plans, as well as other duties that may be assigned. The position requirements are:

strong leadership skills
excellent organizational skills
exceptional interpersonal skills
excellent written and verbal communication
familiarity with Microsoft Office
possess solid research skills
have a strong interest in school safety
