Overview
As an international student studying in the United States we encourage you to take advantage of the study abroad opportunities that UM offers. You will be well-prepared for this experience as you will have already gone through a cultural adjustment process when coming to the U.S. However, you should understand the visa requirements – both for maintaining your U.S. student visa and applying for a student visa in your host country. We encourage you to talk to your Designated School Official early in the process.
