Eligibility and Applying 

Summer guest housing is available at Lewis and Clark Village for UM affiliated individuals without dependents generally beginning May - end of July. Guest availability will depend on the academic calendar of each year and will vary summer to summer.   

Summer guests will need to submit a Summer Break Housing application in the myHousingPortal. To access the portal guests will need to log in with their NetID and password.

Rental Rates for Lewis and Clark

Summer housing at Lewis and Clark is charged a monthly rent of $552.00, which is approximately $18.40 a night. Rent is assessed to CyberBear 10 days prior to the requested check in date and will be prorated when applicable. 

Amenities at Lewis and Clark 

Furnishings in the apartment

The apartments are furnished with a couch and chair in the living room.  Kitchen appliances are all full sized and include a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a microwave.

Full sized beds are in each bedroom.  A desk, desk chair, bookcase, dresser, two drawer cabinet as also in each bedroom.

Not furnished in the apartments – shower curtain, cookware, dishware, linens (sheets, blankets, and towels).

Laundry facilities

Each building has a laundry room with two washers and two dryers.  All machines operate on UMoney only.  The fee for each is $1.50 per load in washer, and $.25 for fifteen minutes of dry time.  One load of laundry to wash and dry is approximately $2.00. 

Mail

The mail is placed directly in the mailboxes by the postal service.  No mail is delivered to the Lewis and Clark Village Office.  We do not accept, sign for, or hold any mail in the office.  Please be sure to change your address on CyberBear and with USPS to ensure your mail gets to you.  Any mail should be addressed as:

UPS and FedEx always deliver parcels to your apartment door.

Charges

Summer Housing charges for your requested dates will be assessed to your student account. Any charges associated with cleaning, damages, lost keys, access cards etc. will be posted to your UM account.

Parking

Parking is free at Lewis and Clark Village; however, you must register your vehicle on the UMPD website choosing the Lewis and Clark Village option. If you do not register with UMPD you could receive a ticket from UMPD.
