Medical Malpractice Awareness Scholarship - Tittle & Perlmuter wants to raise awareness to the growing issue of medical malpractice in the world of healthcare by offering a scholarship opportunity, worth $1000, to incoming or continuing college students. Students must submit a 500-600 word original essay on the following question: Why do you think it’s important to be a patient advocate in today’s health care industry? If applicable, describe a time in which you, or someone you know, experienced receiving poor medical care and what this experience taught you.

American Association for Justice - AAJ has four scholarships available for qualified law students: Richard D. Hailey Scholarship ($5,000), Trial Advocacy Scholarship ($3,000), Leesfield/AAJ Scholarship ($2,500), and Mike Eidson Scholarship ($5,000). The 2021 Scholarship season will begin in February 2021.

Udall Foundation's Native American Congressional Internship - Funded by the Native Nations Institute for Leadership, Management, and Policy, this Udall Internship provides American Indian and Alaska Native students with the opportunity to gain practical experience with the federal legislative process. Joe Rudd Scholarship and RMMLF Scholarship Awards - The Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation has two Scholarship Programs for full-time law students. A law student who can demonstrate a commitment to the study of natural resources law is eligible to apply. Recent awards have ranged from $1,000 to $10,500.

Alaska Bar Association Law School Scholarships - The Alaska Bar Association offers law school scholarships to first- or second-year law students who demonstrate ties to Alaska, and an intent to return to Alaska within two years of graduation. A-1 Auto Transport Scholarship - Three awards worth $1,000, $500 and $250 will be awarded under the A-1 Auto Transport Scholarship. Applicants write an essay of at least 1,000 words about a topic related to transportation and shipping.

Type Media Center Robert Masur Fellowship in Civil Liberties Fellowship - The fellowship is open to first-year law students who intend to carry out significant activities during the summer (in between their first and second year) in the areas of civil rights and/or civil liberties. Fellows each receive a $2,000 honorarium. Proposed activities may include a writing or research project, work with a public interest organization in the areas of civil rights or civil liberties, work on a civil rights or civil liberties law case under the supervision of a faculty member or lawyer, or any other work in the areas of civil rights or civil liberties.

ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund - The ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship grants 20 incoming diverse law students with $15,000 of financial assistance over the course of their three years in law school. Last year's deadline was in April.

FCBA Foundation Law School Scholarship - This scholarship is open to all students enrolled at an accredited law school in the United States who are entering their second or third years of study in the Fall of 2018 and have a demonstrated interest in communications law.  Awards ranging from $2,500 to $10,000, are payable to the law school to cover the student’s tuition and other education-related expenses in the 2018-2019 academic year. Last year's deadline was in April.

Ms. JD Summer 2019 Public Interest Scholarship - The recipients of the Public Interest Scholarship Competition will each receive a scholarship, up to $5,000 per recipient, to go towards their summer living expenses as they pursue careers in public interest law.

Michigan Auto Law Diversity Scholarship - Each year Michigan Auto Law offers a $2,000 scholarship to a  law student who best demonstrates a commitment to issues of diversity within their academic career. Recipient is a U.S. citizen currently attending an accredited law school within the United States or accepted to attend a law school in the fall. Eligibility: 1L, 2L or incoming Fall 2020 law student.

Latham & Watkins 2L Diversity Scholars - As a leading global law firm serving a worldwide client base, Latham is committed to fostering a diverse workforce with lawyers from varied backgrounds and cultures, of different ethnicities and sexual orientations. The program awards select second-year law school students from ABA-accredited law schools a $25,000 scholarship. The first $10,000 of the scholarship will be paid upon starting as a summer associate at Latham & Watkins, and the balance of $15,000 will be paid upon starting as a full-time associate at the firm. Last year's deadline was May.

ChapmanAlbin Scholarship for Law Students - The investment law firm of ChapmanAlbin provides a new or current law student with a $1,000 scholarship to be used towards tuition and/or expenses. Scholarship applicants write a 300-500 word essay.

Cochran Firm: “I’m a Survivor Scholarship.” - We, at The Cochran Law Firm, are currently offering the “I’m a Survivor Scholarship”, which we believe would highly integrate among the ones you already promote. We award $2,500 to an applicant who has either survived or cared for a close family member who experienced a catastrophic accident.

Gardiner Foundation Scholarship - Gersowitz Libo & Korek, P.C.’s scholarship program is designed to encourage and support outstanding students who work hard and have financial need. The $1,500 scholarship is awarded annually to as many as five students. Last date of applying is July 15 for that year's scholarship. Applications submitted after July 15 will be considered for the following year.

Baker Donelson Diversity Scholarship - Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC award three scholarships to diverse law students. Each recipient is awarded $10,000, to be paid during the student's third year of law school to help defray the cost of law school tuition and related expenses. Additionally, recipients are awarded a salaried 2L Summer Associate position in one of the firm's offices. Last year's deadline was in June. Please check back in April for information regarding next year's Baker Donelson Diversity Scholarship.

Diversity in Law Minority Scholarship Contest - Sutliff & Stout invite minority students pursuing legal career for its $1,500 Diversity in Law Minority Scholarship Contest. The program is applicable for every Hispanic or Latino, African American, or Asian students accepted to, or currently enrolled in, an accredited law school or paralegal program. Eligible applicants are required to apply through an online application form and are asked to write an essay answering the question: How will your law degree help your community?

Scholarship Contest - At Cowboy Country Criminal Defense we help those facing criminal charges and provide the information regarding the criminal justice system and their legal rights. Baumgartner Law Firm Scholarship - Applicant must be enrolled at an accredited law school. If you have applied to law school and have not yet been accepted, you may apply but the scholarship will only be awarded to someone accepted and enrolled at an accredited Law School at the time of scholarship selection. This scholarship will be awarded based on need and commitment to helping others. A one-time award of $3,000 will be awarded to one winner to be used for tuition, books and law school expenses.

Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Program - The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) is offering the LMJ Scholarship, a diversity pipeline program that grants scholarships of $10,000 to students for their first year of law school. In addition to financial support, LMJ scholars are connected with peers, alumni, and mentors, who are available to provide professional support, such as guidance on addressing academic or personal obstacles that arise over the course of their legal career.

Criminal Record Policy Essay Competition and Scholarship - Sponsored by The Foundation for Continuing Justice and the Law Firm of Higbee & Associates, the Criminal Record Policy Essay Competition and Scholarship awards more than $3,000 to five winners. Florin-Roebig Scholarship Essay Content - This scholarship is for full-time students pursuing a law-related degree. Using your insight as a student and knowledge of your school, write an essay of no more than 1,200 words about a new program to help prevent sexual assault on college campuses. First place is $3,000, second place is $1,500 and third place is $500.

Annual Future of the Law Scholarship - Founded on January 2, 2020, Talkov Law is awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving law student who authors a winning essay in our Annual Future of the Law Scholarship Essay Contest. Tell your story in a brief narrative of your background and interests followed by a 500-750 word essay or presentation on your ideas for the future of the law. Emphasis should be given on how innovation and technology can enhance access to justice for all Americans. The winner will be selected based on overall writing ability, argument presentation and persuasion. Entertainment Law Initiative Writing Competition - The Recording Academy™, in concert with entertainment attorneys, established the Entertainment Law Initiative® to promote discussion and debate about the most compelling legal issues facing the music industry today. The ELI writing contest challenges students to identify, research, and write an essay with a proposed solution on a compelling legal issue confronting the music industry. Winner receives a $10,000 scholarship and two tickets to the GRAMMY Awards; runner-up receives a $2,500 scholarship.

Hogan/Smoger Access to Justice Essay Competition - Public Citizen provides a current law student or master of law student with a $5,000 prize for the winner of its Hogan/Smoger Access to Justice Essay Competition. This year's essay topic is “Legal Strategies to Address Gun Violence." Applicants write a 6,000-25,000 word essay.

Proff Law Juvenile & Restorative Justice Scholarship - This scholarship will award $1,500 to a law student spending their summer working at a non-profit organization, doing juvenile justice or restorative justice work. Law students from diverse backgrounds and/or have juvenile or criminal records are encouraged to apply.

Michael Greenberg Student Writing Competition - The National LGBT Bar Association's competition is dedicated to encouraging and recognizing outstanding law student scholarship on the legal issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons. The winning article is considered for publication in the Tulane Journal of Law & Sexuality: A Review of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in the Law, the first and only student-edited law review devoted to the intersection of LGBT issues and the law in the United States.

The American College of Employee Benefits Counsel Writing Competition - The American College of Employee Benefits Counsel sponsors a writing competition for law students to encourage them to learn about employee benefits. Up to two participants will be selected to receive $1,500 prizes. Winners also will be honored during the College’s annual black tie dinner.. Papers may be on any topic in the field of employee benefits law.

Philadelphia Injury Lawyers P.C. Essay Competition - Philadelphia Injury Lawyers are known for obtaining high judgments in Court for victims of medical malpractice. We want to help the future generation of Philadelphia medical malpractice lawyers with their education expenses by offering an annual $1,000 scholarship. The scholarship will be based on an essay competition with a topic focused on medical malpractice law.
