Goldstein, PC will award $1,000 to an outstanding student who has overcome challenges in life that others have not had to face. Applicants must fall into of the following categories: 1. Foreign-born student who now resides in the U.S. or 2. U.S.-born student whose parents originated from another country. To apply students must submit an essay no more than 450 words on how immigrating to the United States or being the children of immigrants improved your life or someone in your family’s life.

Our $5,000 For The People Scholarship will be awarded to an individual who is accepted or currently enrolled in law school and is driven to fight for those who need it most.Scholarship applicants will be evaluated primarily on the quality of their answers, but also on their creativity.
Dec 1, 2020 Arnold & Itkin LLP Academic Scholarship - Arnold & Itkin LLP will award $5,000 to two current law students who share our passion for assisting the underprivileged and the victims of tragedy. Regardless of the area of law, the scholarship recipients should be focused on utilizing the legal system to support those less fortunate. Dec 1 annually Eisner Gorin LLP Scholarship - The Los Angeles criminal defense law firm of Eisner Gorin LLP offers a $3,000 scholarship to students who have an interest in or are currently pursuing a career in law. Applicants must submit a 500+ word essay on the topic of criminal justice problems.
Dec 23, 2019 Wallin & Klarich Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to an entering first-year law school student who overcame obstacles to be admitted and now faces financial burden associated with receiving a degree. Successful applicant must be interested in practicing criminal justice in the future.
Dec 31 annually Wealth Wise Scholarship - The Wealth Wise Scholarship is open to US undergraduate and graduate students seeking a career in the finance industry. The scholarship amount is $1,000 and will be awarded based on academic merit and submission of a short essay to be titled How the US Credit Scoring System Can Be Improved. Last year's deadline was December 31.

Travis W. Watkins Tax Resolution & Accounting Firm Scholarship - The Travis W. Watkins Tax Resolution & Accounting Firm Scholarship is a one-time $1,000 award for any current or soon-to-be student who has had his or her family’s life altered because of tax controversies (back taxes owed, audits, etc.). The Travis W. Watkins Scholarship has a brief and 100% confidential submission process, and applicants will be judged on their ability to convey the importance of tax compliance as well as the journey of those challenges (including the impact of professional tax representation or lack of representation on the outcome).
Dec 31, 2019 Simplr Artificial Intelligence and Technology Scholarship - Simplr is offering a $5,000 scholarship to a passionate and deserving student who submits a winning essay in our first annual Annual Artificial Intelligence and Technology Scholarship Contest. Interns learn first-hand the government-to-government relationship between Tribes and the federal government.
Feb 28, 2020 Joe Rudd Scholarship and RMMLF Scholarship Awards - The Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation has two Scholarship Programs for full-time law students. A law student who can demonstrate a commitment to the study of natural resources law is eligible to apply. Recent awards have ranged from $1,000 to $10,500.

Alaska Bar Association Law School Scholarships - The Alaska Bar Association offers law school scholarships to first- or second-year law students who demonstrate ties to Alaska, and an intent to return to Alaska within two years of graduation. Scholarships are made possible by generous donations from the Alaska legal community and by partnership with the Alaska Bar Foundation.
March 10, 2020 A-1 Auto Transport Scholarship - Three awards worth $1,000, $500 and $250 will be awarded under the A-1 Auto Transport Scholarship. Applicants write an essay of at least 1,000 words about a topic related to transportation and shipping.
March 16, 2020 David Carliner Public Interest Award - The American Constitution Society's David Carliner Public Interest Award is for mid-career public interest attorneys with a cash prize of $10,000 and an additional award to the winner’s organization.

Laura Bassi Scholarship - The Laura Bassi Scholarship was established by Editing Press in 2018 with the aim of providing editorial assistance to postgraduates and junior academics whose research focuses on neglected topics of study, broadly construed, within their disciplines. The scholarships are open to every discipline and are awarded three times per year: December, April, and August.
April 10, 2020 Type Media Center Robert Masur Fellowship in Civil Liberties Fellowship - The fellowship is open to first-year law students who intend to carry out significant activities during the summer (in between their first and second year) in the areas of civil rights and/or civil liberties. Fellows each receive a $2,000 honorarium. Proposed activities may include a writing or research project, work with a public interest organization in the areas of civil rights or civil liberties, work on a civil rights or civil liberties law case under the supervision of a faculty member or lawyer, or any other work in the areas of civil rights or civil liberties. Applications must be submitted by Friday, April 10, 2020 to be eligible. No email applications will be considered. All applications must be submitted online through the Submittable portal.
TBA ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund - The ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship grants 20 incoming diverse law students with $15,000 of financial assistance over the course of their three years in law school. Last year's deadline was in April.
TBA FCBA Foundation Law School Scholarship - This scholarship is open to all students enrolled at an accredited law school in the United States who are entering their second or third years of study in the Fall of 2018 and have a demonstrated interest in communications law.  Awards ranging from $2,500 to $10,000, are payable to the law school to cover the student’s tuition and other education-related expenses in the 2018-2019 academic year. Last year's deadline was in April.

Mike Eidson Scholarship - The Mike Eidson Scholarship Fund was established by the AAJ Women Trial Lawyers Caucus in 2008. The Scholarship, traditionally given in the amount of $5,000, is awarded annually to a rising 3L female student who has demonstrated a commitment to a career as a trial lawyer, along with dedication to upholding and defending the principles of the Constitution, and to the concept of a fair trial, the adversary system, and a just result for the injured, the accused, and those whose rights are jeopardized. The application deadline is May 1, 2020, and the Scholarship will be awarded at the AAJ Annual Convention, which will take place this year on July 11-14, 2020, in Washington, D.C.

May 1, 2020 Richard D. Hailey Scholarship - The American Association for Justice's Minority Caucus awards a $5,000 scholarship to a minority law student member who is entering his/her first, second, or third year of law school. The winner must attend the AAJ Annual Convention in San Diego, Cal. to receive the award. Travel and accommodations will be provided.
May 5, 2019 Ms. JD Summer 2019 Public Interest Scholarship - The recipients of the Public Interest Scholarship Competition will each receive a scholarship, up to $5,000 per recipient, to go towards their summer living expenses as they pursue careers in public interest law.
June 1, 2020 Michigan Auto Law Diversity Scholarship - Each year Michigan Auto Law offers a $2,000 scholarship to a  law student who best demonstrates a commitment to issues of diversity within their academic career. Recipient is a U.S. citizen currently attending an accredited law school within the United States or accepted to attend a law school in the fall of 2020. Eligibility: 1L, 2L or incoming Fall 2020 law student.  
TBA Latham & Watkins 2L Diversity Scholars - As a leading global law firm serving a worldwide client base, Latham is committed to fostering a diverse workforce with lawyers from varied backgrounds and cultures, of different ethnicities and sexual orientations. The program awards select second-year law school students from ABA-accredited law schools a $25,000 scholarship. The first $10,000 of the scholarship will be paid upon starting as a summer associate at Latham & Watkins, and the balance of $15,000 will be paid upon starting as a full-time associate at the firm. Last year's deadline was May.
TBA Medical Malpractice Awareness Scholarship - Tittle & Perlmuter wants to raise awareness to the growing issue of medical malpractice in the world of healthcare by offering a scholarship opportunity, worth $1000, to incoming or continuing college students. Students must submit a 500-600 word original essay on the following question: Why do you think it’s important to be a patient advocate in today’s health care industry? If applicable, describe a time in which you, or someone you know, experienced receiving poor medical care and what this experience taught you. Last year's deadline was in May.
TBA Baker Donelson Diversity Scholarship – Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC award three scholarships to diverse law students. Each recipient is awarded $10,000, to be paid during the student's third year of law school to help defray the cost of law school tuition and related expenses. Additionally, recipients are awarded a salaried 2L Summer Associate position in one of the firm's offices. Last year's deadline was in June. Please check back in April for information regarding next year's Baker Donelson Diversity Scholarship.
June 15, 2020 ChapmanAlbin Scholarship for Law Students - The investment law firm of ChapmanAlbin provides a new or current law student with a $1,000 scholarship to be used towards tuition and/or expenses. Scholarship applicants write a 300-500 word essay.
July 15 annually Gardiner Foundation Scholarship - Gersowitz Libo & Korek, P.C.’s scholarship program is designed to encourage and support outstanding students who work hard and have financial need. The $1,500 scholarship is awarded annually to as many as five students. Last date of applying is July 15 for that year's scholarship. Applications submitted after July 15 will be considered for the following year.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Law School Scholarship - The Law Office of Renkin & Associates is pleased to announce the Leukemia & Lymphoma Law School Scholarship.  This $1000 scholarship was established to provide financial support to a student whose life has been impacted by lymphoma or leukemia and is seeking to continue his or her education through law school.
TBA Ropes & Gray Roscoe Trimmer Jr. Diversity Scholarship - This scholarship provides a $25,000 award to up to five outstanding second-year law students to offset the expenses of their legal education, and includes a paid summer associate position following completion of the second year of law school. Last year's deadline was in July.
Aug 1, 2019 Clinton Brink I Memorial Scholarship - The Law Offices of Brink Law Firm offers this scholarship of $1,000 to enrolled law school students in good standing. Applicants must film a short video essay on the topic, "Is the doctrine of adverse possession (aka squatter’s rights) fair?" Feel free to get creative.
August 10, 2020 National Business Law Scholarship - Brown, PC is now accepting applications for the firm's National Business Law Scholarship, a $500 stipend awarded to a second- or third-year U.S. law student with a demonstrated interest in business law.
August 10, 2020 National Tax Law Scholarship - Brown, PC is now accepting applications for the firm's National Tax Law Scholarship, a $500 stipend awarded to a second- or third-year U.S. law student with a demonstrated interest in tax law.


Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Program - The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) is offering the LMJ Scholarship, a diversity pipeline program that grants scholarships of $10,000 to students for their first year of law school. In addition to financial support, LMJ scholars are connected with peers, alumni, and mentors, who are available to provide professional support, such as guidance on addressing academic or personal obstacles that arise over the course of their legal career.

Gordon Law Group Scholarship - Each year, Gordon Law Group invites current law students who are enrolled in a school in the United States to submit papers exploring a current legal issue. Students will respond with a 1,500-word submission (at most) using at least two legitimate sources. The student with the best essay will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

Sept 30, 2020 Criminal Record Policy Essay Competition and Scholarship - Sponsored by The Foundation for Continuing Justice and the Law Firm of Higbee & Associates, the Criminal Record Policy Essay Competition and Scholarship awards more than $3,000 to five winners. The competition is intended to expand the awareness of consequences of criminal records and the laws that govern their retention, dissemination and expungement, as well as to research into the ways to improve related laws. Applicants choose from three essay topics and submit an essay between 2,000 and 5,000 words
TBA The Reeves Law Group Scholarship - The Reeves Law Group is awarding a $3,000 scholarship to a deserving law student who authors a winning essay in their sixth annual Scholarship Essay Contest. Jan 24, 2020 Entertainment Law Initiative Writing Competition - The Recording Academy™, in concert with entertainment attorneys, established the Entertainment Law Initiative® to promote discussion and debate about the most compelling legal issues facing the music industry today. The ELI writing contest challenges students to identify, research, and write an essay with a proposed solution on a compelling legal issue confronting the music industry. Winner receives a $10,000 scholarship and two tickets to the GRAMMY Awards; runner-up receives a $2,500 scholarship.
Feb 15, 2020 Philadelphia Injury Lawyers P.C. Essay Competition - Philadelphia Injury Lawyers are known for obtaining high judgments in Court for victims of medical malpractice. We want to help the future generation of Philadelphia medical malpractice lawyers with their education expenses by offering an annual $1,000 scholarship. The scholarship will be based on an essay competition with a topic focused on medical malpractice law.
April 30, 2020 Hogan/Smoger Access to Justice Essay Competition - Public Citizen provides a current law student or master of law student with a $5,000 prize for the winner of its Hogan/Smoger Access to Justice Essay Competition. This year's essay topic is “Legal Strategies to Address Gun Violence." Applicants write a 6,000-25,000 word essay.
May 14, 2020 Michael Greenberg Student Writing Competition - The National LGBT Bar Association's competition is dedicated to encouraging and recognizing outstanding law student scholarship on the legal issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons. The winning article is considered for publication in the Tulane Journal of Law & Sexuality: A Review of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in the Law, the first and only student-edited law review devoted to the intersection of LGBT issues and the law in the United States.
May 31, 2020 Francis "Brother" Hare Access to Justice Scholarship - The Francis "Brother" Hare Access to Justice Scholarship Fund was established to recognize a law student whose work has been published in a law review. Applicants are invited to submit their papers by May 31, 2020, for the $5,000 scholarship award.
June 1, 2020 The American College of Employee Benefits Counsel Writing Competition - The American College of Employee Benefits Counsel sponsors a writing competition for law students to encourage them to learn about employee benefits. Up to two participants will be selected to receive $1,500 prizes. Winners also will be honored during the College’s annual black tie dinner on September 12, 2020, in Chicago. Papers may be on any topic in the field of employee benefits law.
TBA Smith-Babcock-Williams Student Writing Competition - The Planning & Law Division of the American Planning Association's competition is open to law students and planning students writing on a question of significance in planning, planning law, land use law, local government law or environmental law. Students are encouraged to submit relevant research papers and law review or journal notes prepared throughout the academic year. The winning entry will be awarded a prize of $2,000 and submitted for publication in The Urban Lawyer, the law journal of the American Bar Association's Section of State & Local Government Law. The Second Place paper will receive a prize of $400 and one Honorable Mention prize of $100 will also be awarded. Last year's deadline was in June.
July 12, 2019 The New York State Bar Association Committee on Animals and the Law Student Writing Competition - The Committee on Animals and the Law was established to provide information resources for the New York State Bar Association's members and the public about non-human, animal-related humane issues, which arise from and have an effect upon our legal system. Law students are invited to submit to the Committee on Animals and the Law an article concerning any area of Animal Law.
