
About the RISE program
The RISE program is a program designed for children (ages 7-12) who stutter. Camp RISE will run from 9:00AM - 3:00PM, Monday through Friday, July 17th - July 21st. This year we will be taking children who experience articulation, language, voice, and fluency challenges. The focus of CAMP RISE is improving communication skills through evidenced-based practice in a camp environment. We will be using our bodies, our voices, and our energy all week!!

Camp RISE
Camp RISE is held during the summer for children between the ages of 7&12. The camp will focus on children who have challenges in the areas of articulation, language, voice, and fluency. Campers are paired with graduate students and will receive individualized and group instruction throughout the week.
Cost
Camp fees cover a range of materials and services including:
- Approximately 30 hours of individual and group intervention of specific areas of deficit
- Art supplies, snacks, materials, actvities and a Camp RISE t-shirt!
Total camp fee: $200

Dr. Steven Moates

Dr. Moates is a clinical educator in the Department of Communicative Sciences & Disorders at the University of Montana. He has 16 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist with primary interests in the areas of fluency and supervision.
