About Us
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), part of the Office of Research and Creative Scholarship, supports you through every stage of the grants and contracts process—from proposal development to final closeout. Our experienced team provides personalized guidance to ensure each step is handled with care and precision.
Each UM department is assigned a dedicated Proposal Development Analyst for pre-award support and a Grant and Contract Officer for post-award management. These specialists help you craft and submit competitive proposals, stay compliant with UM, state, and federal regulations, and manage expenditures and reporting with accuracy and efficiency.
In addition to pre- and post-award services, OSP offers principal investigator training and oversees the initiation and management of subawards, strengthening our ability to collaborate with institutions across the country.
