About Me

Claire joined OSP as Post Award Manager in September 2022, bringing with her more than 20 years of grants and management experience in the nonprofit sector. Performing a variety of roles for nonprofits in Washington in the areas of educational rights, tribal law and policy, advocacy, and family services has driven Claire’s lifelong passion for education, equity, and justice. After moving to Montana in 2009 where her family originates, these areas of focus expanded to include mental health, disability services, housing, and parenting education. As a nonprofit executive Claire oversaw the entire lifecycle of grants, funding work in housing and social services in the Missoula community. Later, working with a large mental health center as the sole grants staff, she refined her knowledge of post award processes and skills in managing high value and large volumes of grants and contracts. When not at work, Claire is at her other job – being mom to two school-age boys and two Labrador Retrievers – all of whom help to keep her young.
