John Bauer

Independent Artist Personal Manager

John E. Bauer has been involved in all aspect of the Entertainment Business profession. He started The John Bauer Concert Company, Bauer/Kinnear Enterprises in 1976 out of Seattle Washington. As head of this company he produced over 100 events per year, predominately in the West Coast. Artists included Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, REM, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Van Halen among others.

He co-produced CAL JAM 2 in Ontario, California-capacity 200,000 and California World Music Festival, Los Angeles, California-capacity 100,000 per day. He developed and operated the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington State and LB Day Amphitheater in Portland, Oregon. John produced the Van Halen 40 city North American concert tour. As part of his business he established and operated an in- house-advertising agency and ticket sales company.

In 1992 he sold the business to Universal Concerts. From 1980 –1990 he was the Executive Producer of The Mt. Hood Festival of Jazz in Portland, Oregon. He created and operated the three-day world-class outdoor festival each August.

Since 1991 he has become involved in Artist Personal Management. He is the personal manager for Keith Carradine (actor) and Stephen McPherson (writer-producer).
