Margi Cheske

Margi is currently President of Fantasy Records (a Concord Music company) and is responsible for the successful relaunch of the historic Fantasy label and building the current roster by signing Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, James Taylor, Prophets of Rage, Paul Simon, Lukas Nelson, Steve Perry, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Valerie June, Marcus King Band, Ry Cooder, and most recently Grace Potter. Prior to this position, Margi was SVP Marketing at Concord Music and responsible for the successful and innovative marketing campaigns for Ray Charles Genius Loves Company, Paul McCartney, Sia, Paul Simon, James Taylor and Carole King. Before joining Concord, Margi worked at Virgin Records, marketing acts like The Smashing Pumpkins, Lenny Kravitz, Blur and Ben Harper.  She began her career in sales and distribution at Warner Elektra Atlantic (WEA).  She holds a B.A. in Arts Management and Broadcasting from Columbia College in Chicago.
