Matt Hanover is an innovative and seasoned media consultant with twenty years of experience in content acquisition, marketing, and distribution with emerging media platforms. Throughout his career he has been involved in both start-ups and well-established media companies ranging from Turner Broadcasting and DIRECTV to Meredith Publishing and JetBlue.

Matt began his career in advertising sales and promotion at CNN and TBS in Atlanta, and special projects for the launch of TNT. He served five years with DIRECTV, first in content acquisition and then pay per view marketing. While at DIRECTV, Matthew was instrumental creating new programming ventures including the first-ever original pay-per-view movies from filmmakers such as Francis Ford Coppola and Richard Donner as well as exclusive boxing, soap opera and music offerings including Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, and Shania Twain.

Matt has worked in television for mobile with QUALCOMM's MediaFLO division which is focused on bringing live and clip-casted television to mobile phone carriers worldwide.

He has created or collaborated on original programming for television (ESPN, USA) and the web (Wolfgang Puck, Hellmann's), as well as licensed for emerging technologies that span airlines, wireless, and other out of home platforms.  He has successfully established, negotiated and managed key partnerships with content leaders such as: MLB, Fox, CBS, A&E, Sony, HBO, Warner Bros., UFC, ESPN, HGTV, Hulu, Five, Lionsgate, CNN, TNT, AOL, Yahoo, exceeding $500 million.

Matthew is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
