Study Abroad

Studying abroad is an important component in the process of studying a foreign language. Currently, the University of Montana has one partner university in the Arabic-speaking region, Al Akhawayn University Ifrane (AUI). AUI is grounded in the historical strengths of African, Arab, and Islamic culture; at the same time, it is modeled in its organizational structure, curriculum, method, and language of instruction on the American system of higher education. Just over 1,000 students attend the school, with 160 international students from 28 different countries.
