Fitness and Recreation Center
The Fitness and Recreation Center (FRC) is located on the north end of campus, next to the Adams Center. Our facility offers a variety of cardio and weight machines, free weights, a functional training area, three group fitness classrooms, locker rooms with dry saunas, squash and raquetball/handball courts and three multipurpose courts for basketball, volleyball or badminton.
One of the first things you'll notice in the Fitness and Recreation Center is the state-of-the-art climbing wall. Bouldering is available anytime the facility is open, and we offer top-rope (belay) climbing during specific hours when the wall is staffed. Classes and workshops are held through the Outdoor Program frequently at the wall so you can learn the basics or advance your skills.
Lap swims, adult coached swims, American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED certification lessons, inner tube water polo and recreational swim times are just a few of the activities at the Grizzly Pool. The pool is part of Campus Recreation membership, but it is also open to the public for a fee.
Racquetball, Handball & Squash Courts
The Fitness & Recreation Center has a squash court and seven raquetball/handball courts. You can now make racquetball/handball and squash court reservations online!
