Credit for Professional Credentials, Licenses, and Training

Students who have completed professional certifications, licenses, apprenticeships, academies, employer-based training, or industry-recognized credentials may be eligible for Credit for Prior Learning. UM reviews documented professional learning to determine whether it is current, verifiable, college-level, and aligned with UM course outcomes.

Listing a credential, license, academy, or training program on this page does not guarantee credit. Final credit decisions depend on student eligibility, documentation, course alignment, degree applicability, and academic department approval.
