Summer Semester Requests

The ODE portal will begin accepting Semester Requests for Summer 2026 on May 5, 2026.

Semester Requests are for students who have been approved for academic accommodations and would like to use those accommodations in their Summer 2026 courses.

Review the instructions on how to submit a Semester Request.

Please note:

  • Academic accommodations do not renew automatically.
  • Students must submit a Semester Request through the ODE portal each term.
  • Once a request is submitted, faculty members will receive an official accommodation letter notifying them of the student’s approved accommodations.

Steps for students  

  1. Submit your Semester Request through the ODE portal.
  2. After faculty have been notified, students are responsible for following up with their instructors by completing Steps 3 and 4 outlined in the Requesting Approved Academic Accommodations instructions.

Submitting your request early helps ensure your accommodations are in place timely in the summer term.
