Autumn Semester Requests

The ODE portal will begin accepting Semester Requests for Autumn 2026 on August 17, 2026.

Semester Requests are for students who have been approved for academic accommodations and would like to use those accommodations in their Autumn 2026 courses.

Review the instructions on how to submit a Semester Request.

Please note:

  • Academic accommodations do not renew automatically.
  • Students must submit a Semester Request through the ODE portal each term.
  • The ODE portal accepts Semester Requests until November 30, 2026. 

Steps for students

  1. Submit your Semester Request through the ODE portal.
  2. After faculty have been notified, follow up with your faculty members by completing Steps 3 and 4 outlined in the Requesting Approved Academic Accommodations instructions.

Submitting your request early helps ensure your accommodations are in place timely in the summer term.

Did you add a course later? Submit again.
Your Semester Request only covers the courses at the time you submit it. If you add a new course afterward, submit a new Semester Request for that course.
