What is included in the Eye Kit

  • 1 donut pillow to simulate a top and bottom eye lid
  • 1 plush eyeball
  • 1 pair of oversized glasses
  • A book- Getting Ready for my Eye surgery
  • Laminated- Human Eye Anatomy, Fun Facts about your Eyes, Understanding eye issues, Good Habits for Eyes, A social story-Going to the Eye Doctor. 

2 small bags:

  • 1st Bag-hot/cold compress and eye dropper-
  1. Small laminated information that states: You will find a Dropper to pretend to give the Eye stuffie Eye Drops. Eye drops are made of purified water, plus ingredients that help keep your eyes comfortable and make the drops feel like your own tears.
  2. A hot and cold eye compress helps treat different eye problems. You can use a warm compress to clear blocked oil glands, soothe dry eyes, and heal styes. 
  • 2nd Bag-mini sandbag and eye dropper-
  1. Small laminated information that states: You will find a Dropper and a little Brown Sandbag to put on the eye stuffie. This is what it can feel like getting your eyes dilated. Eye doctors put special drops in your eyes to make your pupils open wider. The drops temporarily affect the small muscles in your eyes that control pupil size, helping the doctor see more clearly inside your eye.
