The Shodair Genetic Clinic serves pediatric patients across Montana, with nurses traveling to six cities to assist with cheek swab collection for genetic testing. Designed to make the swabbing process less intimidating and more comfortable, this kit helps children build healthy coping skills, self-advocacy, and confidence through play. By introducing medical procedures in a child-friendly way and promoting positive representation, it empowers children to better understand their experiences and see themselves as capable, unique, and remarkable.
