The Montana University System offers a comprehensive wellness program for all MUS employees, retirees, and spouses or partners enrolled in the MUS health insurance plan. The MUS Wellness Program is administered by the Montana University System, not by UM Human Resource Services. This page provides an overview of what is available. What The MUS Wellness Program Offers

WellChecks are free preventive health screenings available to MUS plan members. Screenings typically include biometric measurements such as blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, and body mass index. WellChecks are offered at campus locations throughout the year. Completing a WellCheck may qualify you for wellness incentives through the MUS Choices plan.

The MUS Wellness Program offers a range of lifestyle education and support resources including workshops, online courses, and coaching focused on fitness, nutrition, stress management, and healthy habits. Topics are updated regularly throughout the year.
- Wellness Lab: An online learning platform featuring short video courses on fitness, nutrition, and healthy habits, available at any time at wellnesslab.thinkific.com.

Take Control is a personalized disease prevention and management program for plan members managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or high blood pressure. The program provides individualized plans and support to help members improve their health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.

The MUS Wellness Departmental Awards Program recognizes departments across the Montana University System that actively promote a healthy work environment for their employees. Departments can nominate themselves or be nominated by colleagues.
