Program Overview
This program combines engaging in-person sessions with an emphasis on practical application to help you master the strategies covered within three units:
Culture: UM Managers should create a supportive and inclusive work environment for their team by prioritizing wellness, practicing appreciation, and seeking to understand what individual employees need to succeed.
Coach: Embracing their role as a coach, UM managers should take an active role in supporting and managing their employees through frequent feedback and by facilitating their employees’ growth and development.
Constructive Conflict: UM Managers should encourage open dialogue, face difficult conversations head-on, and foster an environment where conflict is seen as constructive rather than destructive.
Participants will receive an Everything DiSC assessment to give them insight into their management style and personalized strategies for building stronger, more effective team relationships.
By attending all sessions and completing a reflective assessment, you’ll earn a Practical Leadership Skills for Managers certificate and digital badge to showcase your commitment to leadership excellence.
