The Health Research (HR) Core of the Montana Clinical and Translational Research Center (MCTRC) is committed to developing and sustaining clinical and translational research across the state. By fostering collaborations between academic researchers and key clinical and public health organizations, the HR Core strengthens research capacity and drives innovation.
The HR Core administers the Pilot and Development Research Awards program, funding promising projects and providing mentorship to help researchers secure future extramural funding. Partnering with clinical and public health partner organizations, the HR Core establishes formal agreements to support shared research objectives. Through these efforts, the HR Core is expanding Montana's research infrastructure and advancing health outcomes for rural communities.
