Registration (via the YMCA) opens March 1 for YMCA members and March 3 for the general public.
Pollinator Protectors is a collaborative academic day camp offered by the University of Montana Summer Office and Specialty & Extended Programming Office in partnership with the Missoula Family YMCA.
This unique introductory academic camp invites students to explore the fascinating world of pollinators and learn how these species impact our environment.

July 20–25, 2026
(The camp includes four days of hands-on learning and exploration, followed by a full UM Day on Friday.)
Camp Disclaimer:
No prior knowledge is required. However, students must be comfortable around live insects, especially bees, and be respectful of their space, as well as be able to follow instructor and staff guidance to ensure the safety of all participants and animals.
