Temporary COVID Vaccination Positions
MCCHD Covid Vaccination Clinic efforts are ramping up in the coming months and we are looking to hire a plethora of positions. Working with MCCHD Covid Task force is unique. We are a part of the City-County government, but we are also under the jurisdiction of FEMA. Employees gain specific training and experience that relates to both agencies. Additionally, the positions we are looking to fill require a high level of leadership and offer an opportunity to oversee and organize COVID-19 response efforts.
These positions would be a good fit for graduate students or students that are finishing their degree. They are all temporary and will likely last through the summer.

Public Health Specialist- Yarrow
We are looking for a new team member who can add talented public health capacity to Yarrow’s portfolio! The Public Health Specialist will be able to write technical reports, conduct basic data analysis, research a myriad of public health and healthcare related topics, and add any other relevant personal and professional skills such as GIS, data visualization, or joke telling. This position will assist Yarrow with the development and finalization of public health reports, grant writing, assessments, and strategic planning.

Temporary COVID Vaccination Positions
Most positions will last 2-5 months. We will not follow our traditional hiring process of applications/interviews. As people contact me, if they are a good fit for a position they will be hired on immediately, so these numbers will hopefully go down quickly. We will not be doing any official interviews for temporary jobs – so recommend great people.

1) (1 hire) Vaccine Event Manager (will fall under the Program Development Manager job description)- ($24.43/hour DOE) 40 hours/week, coordinate daily activities and personnel of covid vaccination events, including orienting the new temp hires we bring on.
2) (1 hire) Vaccine Logistics Manager (will fall under the Program Development Manager job description)- ($24.43/hour DOE) 40 hours/week, will assist with the logistical aspects of the vaccination clinics (technology, purchasing).
3) (14 hires) Various Roles (will fall under the Clinic Greeter job description, $16.25/hour) )- can be a part or full time hours, but need to be able to work a set schedule. May work days, evenings, and evenings depending on vaccine clinic needs, but we’ll work with what they are able to do. Main duties will include data entry, check-in of patients, contacting patients to schedule appointments and assisting with flow of the vaccination clinics.
4) (2 hires) Billing Specialists- ($19.15/hour) can be part of full time hours, but need to be able to work a set schedule. Will primarily work at Alder/Creamery (not at the fairgrounds).
