Overview of Required Training
Required trainings for all employees are now available through our NEOED Learn system. These trainings go beyond meeting university requirements—they help us understand the laws and policies that shape our work and protect our community. By completing them, we strengthen a campus culture rooted in respect, safety, and accessibility for everyone.
- Employees may elect to self-enroll in the courses and complete them at their own pace before formal assignments begin in January.
- Once an employee enrolls themselves or is assigned a course, they will have six weeks to complete the course.
Managers should encourage their team to self-enroll and complete trainings early if their schedules allow or plan ahead to ensure time is set aside once assignments begin.
How to Self-Enroll in courses:
- Log in to NEOED Learn using your NetID.
- Navigate to the “Training” tab in the top navigation.
- Navigate to the “Course Catalog” tab.
- Look for courses labeled “Required” or search for a course by title.
- Click “Enroll” and begin when ready.
