Safety Compliance
University of Montana policy provides and promotes a safe and healthy work environment. Accidents are lapses in our ability to accomplish this objective. Each individual employee is responsible for workplace safety. Supervisors are responsible for requiring safe work practices for their employees. The Office of Risk Management is charged with assuring employees that the workplace is safe by working with all parties to identify and correct any unsafe areas or practices while at the same time coordinate the timely occurrence of safety meetings and availability of safety articles and videos.
