About the Youth Safety & Compliance Office (YSCO)
The Youth Safety & Compliance Office (YSCO) is dedicated to helping create safe, supportive, and enriching experiences for youth participating in University of Montana programs and activities. As the central resource for youth program oversight and compliance, we partner with faculty, staff, students, volunteers, and community organizations to provide guidance, resources, and oversight to help create safe, positive experience.
Our office provides:
- Guidance and support for youth-serving programs
- Training and educational resources
- Assistance with compliance requirements
- Best practices for youth safety
- Oversight of University youth program standards
